Pilot Mountain, NCJOLO Winery & Vineyards is pleased to announce that three of its wines earned Gold Medals in the French Broad Vigneron evaluation from the 2017 Asheville Wine & Food Festival. The award winners are as follows:

The Asheville Wine & Food Festival wine competition is conducted in a blind format with judges only knowing the wine they are drinking but not the producer. Judging is scored using the American Wine Society form which is quite similar to the Davis Card. Each wine is judged by two judging teams. If there is major disparity between the two results a third team is created and the wine will be judged a third time.
In its ninth year, the Asheville Wine & Food Festival serves up the chance to try great wines, beers, spirits, and meet and sample all the fresh, homemade, farm-to-table goodness Asheville and the surrounding region offers. Information on the festival can be found by clicking here.

JOLO Winery & Vineyards is located in the Yadkin Valley Agricultural Viniculture Association (AVA). It is open to the public for tastings, tours and dining and can be reserved for indoor or outdoor special events.
